The Forum: The God Particle Featured

This week scientists announced the discovery of the Higgs Boson Particle. People call it “The God Particle” because it’s what makes everything in the universe hang together. Most of us have been left scratching our heads and wishing we’d paid more attention in fifth form physics so we could figure out what this actually means.

On the Forum this Sunday we’ll chat about it and find out what it means for belief in God.

We’ll also talk more generally about what proof you have for your beliefs.

In the Bible it says that a Christian should, “always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have". (1 Peter 3:15). So if someone came up to you in the street and asked why you hold the beliefs you do … what would you say to them? If you’re a Christian then why do you believe in God? If you’re not a Christian then why do you not believe in this stuff?

Listen below for the highlights.

The Forum is a place where we can share about the things that matter to us – whatever perspective we happen to be coming from. Join the conversation on Sunday night from 9pm!
