Hey Ian, I rushed into marriage very quickly and after being married for 9 months both my wife and I are not very happy. We have been to counseling and other marriage retreat type things but nothing seems to have improved our relationship. We sort of bring out the worst in each other and I feel we would both live happier lives and be better people if we parted ways. Some people are meant to be together is it possible that some also just aren't?

My question is about looking for a partner. I just want to firstly state that I go to church because I love Jesus, but I have recently left my old church in search of 'greener pastures'.... I am approaching 30 and really would like to find someone who I might eventually marry. There was no one at my old church that I was into so I have started church hopping to hopefully find a man. Some people have told me this a bad idea and that I should choose a church to settle into where I can serve and worship God. But I would rather meet a guy in a church than at a bar or a party. Is this a bad thing? Am I putting my desire above my God?

Hey Doc, I get in trouble regularly with my girlfriend because I guess you could say I have wandering eyes. But I honestly cant seem to help it, it's like if a ferrari drives past you take notice. Is it wrong to look and admire a pretty woman walking down the street?

Question 1
Hey Love Doc, I am newly married and have a question about Bed times. But NOT like that! Here’s the problem, I have to get up very early for work, which means I generally have to go to bed quite early as well. I am fine with this and don’t mind going to bed before my husband does. But the thing is, he will ALWAYS come to bed at the same time as me, he says he doesn’t want to wake me up by coming to bed later on. He says he doesn’t mind but I feel like further down the track he is going to be annoyed with me for ‘making’ him go to sleep at 9pm. How do we deal with this?

Hey Ian, straight to the point here, my husband has become boring. Lately he has been quite happy to just hang out with me and not really see any of his friends. I am a very social person and like to hang out with others and see my friends, he has no need for other company and it is driving me CRAZY! I even feel like some of my friends don’t wanna come over anymore because of his lack of enthusiasm when they’re over. This has only developed recently and he is becoming more reclusive by the week, this isn’t the man I married. HELP!

I have a friend who has recently got engaged. She met a man, who seemed pretty normal, but then he proposed after 3 weeks of knowing her, She said yes and they wanna get married within the next few months. I think this is all too fast and crazy, no one knows this guy and to be honest, she barely knows him! I’m not suggesting he’s a psycho or anything but it just seems out of control. What do you think I should do, and what do you think of short engagements?
