Stan Walker has announced a 23-date tour that will take him from Whangarei to Invercargill in September and October.

As well as judging NZ X Factor next year, Stan Walker is trying his hand at acting. Mt Zion is a kiwi film being released February 6 next year, and stars Stan Walker as a talented young musician with a dream – for his band to win the audition to be the support act for Bob Marley's 1979 concert in Auckland.
His song "Take It Easy" also features as part of the film's soundtrack. Check out the video below.
Stan Walker has released the new music video for 'Music Won't Break Your Heart'. Some sweet bails at the start of this vid and then some very sweet dance moves. Oh, and did I mention it was filmed in Queenstown? No biggie...
BONUS: Stan's released a special Music Won't Break Your Heart EP with some remixes of the track. Well worth a look!!
This is the second hour of the Life FM NYE 2011/2012 epic mix... Tracklist after the jump
It's finally here! The new album from Stan Walker, Let The Music Play, is available in store NOW! As of posting this, iTunes was saying it's not out till the 21st, but what does it know, right? It's probably gonna end up being one of my favourite kiwi releases of 2011 (speaking of which, I should start working on that list for the end of the year huh... oh man..)
Post a comment letting us know what you think of it if you get it!!
Wait, what???? With his new album due out next week, Stan Walker has to keep busy with a new project. Only this one isn't another album - Stan's making his acting debut on a kiwi flick called A Gift To Zion. It's a story about a young, ambitious Māori boy who wants to become an artist. When speaking of his role in the film, Walker told Herald Sun, "They approached me ... the script is so good, it's basically who I was six years ago ... It's definitely the main reason I wanted to get involved."
The movie hits the big screen in 2012.
Brooke Fraser totally cleaned up at the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards, taking home five Tuis, including the International Achievement Award, and the People's choice Award. Parachute Band claimed the Best Gospel/Christian Album award, and Stan Walker picked up the NZ on Air Radio Airplay Record of the Year for the song 'Choose You'. Kimbra was awarded the Gravity Coffee Critic's Choice Prize as well, so all up - a huge night!!
As well as the silverware presentations, there were performances by Brooke Fraser & Avalanche City, and a host of many more.
Check out some of Daynas interviews on the night.
