After The Silver Fox Project called it a day (and a pretty good day at that!!), Tom Hollow has gone solo and has just released his debut EP, My Only One. You can get the whole EP for "pay-what-you-like" at http://tomhollow.bandcamp.com/
From his bandcamp page:
It has been twelve years since I first picked up a guitar, yet I consider the Tom Hollow EP just the beginning of an exciting journey Christ has set me upon.

The new music video from the now trio Paramore is for the song Now! This is the debut tune from their new album of the same name.It may seem super violent initally with lots of crazy battle footage etc, but it does have a nice heartstrings moment at the end with a great little 'Love Wins' message. It does take a while to get over the lack of eyebrows in Hayleys new look though! Check it below...

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus have returned, and we're excited to unveil details on the pop rockers new EP, Et Tu, Brute?.
Set for a March 15 release date, the six-track EP celebrates the band's 10 year anniversary with the return of Don't You Fake It producer David Bendeth, marking the first time the band have joined forces with Bendeth since the album's 2006 debut.
Have a listen to this brand new tune "You Can't Trust Anyone These Days".

Seems grayscale is the new thing to go for with music videos. Here's the latest vid from Thousand Foot Krutch for their song "War Of Change" off the The End Is Where We Begin release.

The Grammys are on at the moment and kiwi songstress Kimbra has claimed one for her part in the hit song "Somebody That I Used To Know" with Gotye.
UPDATE!!! Make that a double win for the Kimbra/Gotye team - "Somebody That I Used To Know" has been named Record of the Year!!!!
Other Life FM artists doing well, Lecrae picked up Best Gospel Album for Gravity, Matt Redman claimed Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance and Best Contemporary Christian Song for '10,000 Reasons', Tobymac won for Best Christian Music Album for Eye On It.
Epic wins all round!!

For those into the heavier sound, we've got got a little something for you. After catching up with guitarist Anthony Armstrong last week, I'm stoked on this new video from RED for "Release The Panic".
UPDATE!! Their new album Release The Panic has finally made it to NZ iTunes. PS Get the deluxe version with the awesome remixes.

So good news and bad news:
BAD NEWS - Fiction Family's new album is out now, but not available on NZ iTunes or Spotify (but I'll keep checking for you)
GOOD NEWS - You can stream the whole album free at purevolume.com while you wait for it to be available. Take some time, and go do this.

Joining Stan Walker on the X Factor NZ judging panel is kiwi songstress (that even a word???) Ruby Frost! The crew of four also features Daniel Bedingfield (I'm sure he'll get through this just fine...) and Melanie Blatt from the UK girl-groupd All Saints.
The pre-audition tour wraps up next week with Auckland this weekend, and New Plymouth, Whangarei, Kerikeri, and Kaitia after that.

So with Parachute done and dusted (seriously, that dust was cruel this year), you might've missed some of the albums that Kiwi artists released over the weekend. Let me help with that.
Strahan - Posters
The follow-up to the Water & Fire EP - Strahan locks in his place as a brilliant deep lyricist and musician. Get it on bandcamp or iTunes.
The Ember Days - More Than You Think
One of the best worship albums you will hear this year. These guys know what they're doing - and do it oh so well! Free from comeandlive.com or buy it on iTunes and support them.
Edge Kingsland - Vol. 2 | due north
Local worship from one of the best collections of musicians and songwriters Auckland has. You'll listen to this on repeat for hours. Meant to be on iTunes by the end of the week.
Late 80s Mercedes - Diamonds EP
Always a Parachute Festival favourite, the guys have released a new collection of songs. Some originals, some new covers - get it on iTunes or Spotify and enjoy a little more summer.
