The Forum: Jamie's World

Jamie Curry might be the most famous teenager in NZ. She was hoping to get a hundred fans on the ‘Jamie’s World’ facebook page she set up last year. She’s currently got over 800 000. Her videos have a worldwide audience of 7 million people a week.

On the Forum this Sunday George talks to Jamie about what it’s like to go viral on social media, and how it’s changed her life.

We’ll take your thoughts on social media too:

Why do you think certain things go viral online?
What do you not like about social media? What things do people do on facebook which annoy you?
Is being connected to each other so much good or bad for our relationships in real life?
Are you addicted to social media?

I don't doubt that he loves me, but he doesn't show it nor does he show any respect for me. No matter how hard I try I always feel invisible to him and Im getting tired of feeling like a doormat. When I try and talk to him about it, he usually interrupts, cuts me off or gets angry and ends the conversation. What can I do so that he will see me as a real person?
