This week on Homegrown we are talking to Craig from Citywest Church in New Plymouth. They have recently released their first live worship album called Togetherasone. So we’ll be talking about their approach to worship music and ministry.
Made with the help of NZ On Air, it’s Homegrown, Friday Nights at 11 on Life FM.

Surprise, surprise - I'm excited for something House of Heroes are doing. But this is seriously going to be an awesome thing. We're talking Beatles covers, remixes, acoustic edits, and the b-sides that didn't quite make the full albums... 19 in total. Pre-order it now - it's out April 30. Hit the jump for the full tracklist and to listen to "Choose Your Blade", one of the brand new tunes.

Newsflash - I'm a fan of Twenty One Pilots. Their song "Guns For Hands" is epic, videos of their live stuff look awesome, and now I have THIS to be excited about.
The full-length album (the first on Fueled By Ramen) from these guys is coming out January 8, with a new single "Holding Onto You" coming in just a couple of weeks.

You know how I keep telling you to go to noisetrade.com to download free tunes, or album samplers etc?? Well the GUY WHO STARTED NOISETRADE.COM has just released another album.
Derek Webb's new album Ctrl is available now at his website derekwebb.com. You can head to noisetrade to get a sampler of the album as well (naturally).

If someone was going to pull of an acoustic/rock/indie side project with terrific lyrics and inspiring musicianship, it'd be Stephen Christian from Anberlin. When he realised he'd written a bunch of songs that Anberlin could never release, he formed Anchor & Braille. They released an album, Felt, back in 2009, and will be releasing The Quiet Life in the next week or so.
Check out the music video for the song "Find Me" below, and be sure to link them up on facebook!
This week on Homegrown we are catching up with Ruby Frost to talk about her hot-off-the-press new album Volition. Made with the help of NZ On Air, it’s Homegrown, Friday nights at 11 on Life FM.

If you've been loving the tune "Miracles" from Mike Mains & the Branches lately, you can now get the re-release of their album Home on iTunes.
This is probably gonna be one of my top 10 for the year. Worth a listen, at least!
The Almost have posted an update on the progress of their new album:
They hit the studio to record the real thing in just a few short weeks and they couldn't be more excited for everyone to hear what Dusty has already called "the best Almost record yet."
Hit the link to read the whole post and to link up to their twitters and instagrams so you won't miss anything from in the studio.
It's finally here! The new album from Stan Walker, Let The Music Play, is available in store NOW! As of posting this, iTunes was saying it's not out till the 21st, but what does it know, right? It's probably gonna end up being one of my favourite kiwi releases of 2011 (speaking of which, I should start working on that list for the end of the year huh... oh man..)
Post a comment letting us know what you think of it if you get it!!
I'm not how I even missed this one since The Fray are one of my favourite bands, but anyways, they've got a new album coming out February next year called Scars & Stories. The first single, 'Heartbeart' is available on iTunes and stuff and is pretty awesome.
