Showbread have released Cancer, a Kickstart-funded project with a feature length film coming later this year. It's free to download at comeandlive.com.
As I Lay Dying have released Awakened, their follow-up to the acclaimed The Powerless Rise.
The Wedding, having recently signed to Tooth & Nail records, have their debut, No Direction out today.
Mumford & Sons have released Babel, and also performed at the iTunes festival yesterday - check out their performance here.
Finally, Jeremy Camp has got the Christmas ball rolling with his new Christmas album God With Us.
Showbread to release 'Cancer' in September
Come&Live rockers Showbread are gonna release their latest project Cancer on September 25.
More than just an album, Cance is a "multimedia experice" with a film and an album - you can download your own propaganda kit at their website.
Showbread making a movie!?
In 2010, Showbread left the mainstram music industry mindset of making money and joined Come&Live! Records, a group devoted to using music as a means to share the love of God with everyone, and giving their music away for free.
They've recently announced they want to create a sci-fi concept album called Cancer, and are once again looking to their fans to support the music through Kickstarter.
Oh, and alongside the album, they want to make a movie.
We want to go bigger. Much bigger. An intricate world of a story set to the soundtrack of a Raw Rock space opera and accompanied by it's own feature film! We want to gather/combine all our creative resources into telling a massive, multi-sensory extravaganza of a story that screams an incredible truth: Jesus has conquered death!
We want to do all this and then give it away. For free.
Yea, so that's a thing.
