The final total for Running Against Traffick is more than $25,000. Thank you so much to everyone who gave!
The run itself was pretty challenging. 21kms off-road over some pretty brutal terrain certainly took a fair bit of effort – but it wasn't hard to be motivated when so much money was being raised!
It was a privilege for us to highlight the work of Nvader and to raise funds for their work rescuing victims of sex trafficking.
Check out some of the email Daniel Walker sent through a few days after the run:
"I wanted to let you know that the funds have been assigned to the next operation we complete and that I will update you and your listeners/supporters accordingly.
Our team in SE Asia is moving on several different targets at the moment and once the best one is selected and the mission complete I will let you know the results."
We can't wait to hear how it went! In the meantime, please join us in praying for their work.
Thanks again to all our generous donors! It's been an incredible response.

Florida's finest are bringing their tour-de-force live show to New Zealand next month.
The Winterhaven rockers will play The King's Arms Saturday August 31st.
It's been four years since the outfit breached our shores, bringing their 2008 album 'New Surrender' to life with a searing show at the Powerstation. Between then and now Anberlin has continued to solidify their place as one of alt-rock's hardest working bands, delivering the left-right hook of 2010's Brendan O'Brien-produced 'Dark Is the Way, Light Is a Place' and 2012's 'Vital'.
With Absolute Punk Magazine calling 'Vital' "the best record in Anberlin's ten year career, bar none", numerous residencies in the Billboard 200 and a headlining North American tour freshly behind them, the band has never been a stronger force in an increasingly pallid rock scene.
Onstage, leaning on an impressive back catalogue of hits like 'Feel Good Drag', 'Paperthin Hymn' and 'Godspeed', the quintet plug in and bleed, making them one of the scene's most exciting live acts. Their future once deemed by their frontman as "...either world domination or destruction", the band has chosen to take the world by storm.
Just make sure you're there to see it.
