The latest Christian & mainstream music news, from NZ and around the world! You'll also be hearing a lot of this on the music news on the Late Show with George (and Dan) at 9.10pm weeknights and the new music pulse on Saturdays.

I'm always one to churn the rumour mill about music stuff. And as soon as Kevin Max joined Audio Adrenaline I said that a DC Talk reunion tour would happen with TobyMac, Newsboys & Audio Adrenaline. To push the case a little further, here's former DC Talk-er and now front man for Newsboys, Michael Tait.
I promise not to say I told you so.

Owl City has released his newest music video, "Shooting Star". This comes from the new album The Midsummer Station that's out now, and don't forget Adam and the band will be in New Zealand for one show in Auckland on November 16.

Flyleaf have announced that New Horizons (out this weekend on iTunes) will be the last album with vocalist Lacey Sturn. It is not the end of the band though, they've already picked up Kristen May who will go out on tour with the band and work on future albums.
By the way, here's the video for the title track off the new album, "New Horizons"

Check out this video of Mike Mains & the Branches talking about their new album Calm Down, Everything is Fine. No release date or anything yet, but as soon as I know, you'll know.

The new music video for Abandon Kansas' tune "Turn It To Gold" hit the internet today. You can grab it as a single on iTunes and don't forget to check out the interview Dan did with Jeremy from the band.

You can stream the whole new album Vessel from Twenty One Pilots at Music Mix before it's released on January 8. And make sure you take a look at the music video for "Holding Onto You".
You can pick up the Three Songs EP from iTunes now, and pre-order the new album for next year from their website.
All pre-orders get an instant download of the new single "Holding Onto You".

Hyland have released Finding Our Way on iTunes today! It's the second release from the band and reviews so far (like this one) make it one to check out for sure.
Have a look at this lyric video for the single "Beauty In The Broken".

Remember Stellar Kart?? It's been over 2 years since they released Everything Is Different, their worship project. Sure, there was the Disney EP last year, but pretty much out of nowhere they've launched a pay-what-you-like Acoustic EP featuring six classics (like "Me & Jesus" and "Something Holy") as well as two brand new tunes that are likely to be on their 2013 studio release.
Stream the tracks, download them if you want them, and expect new stuff from these guys in the first half of next year.

Worship band Esterlyn released Woven a few weeks back (iTunes FTW!!) and you can download a couple of tunes for free from noisetrade to sample the album. That's why it's called a sampler.

Chris Tomlin is one of the biggest worship artists around right now. His songs are sung all around the world, and by the looks of it, this new album out January is set to be pretty awesome.
