This is how I felt when I had to wake up this morning.

Thoughts on cats.

On Friday, I inherited my older sister's cat. She is moving into an apartment and can no longer look after her. The cat's name is Wehi, she looks like this. 

I WANT THIS CAT TO DIE.

When you move a cat to a new house, there is a certain 'breaking in' period where you must keep the cat inside. You do this so he understands that this is his new home and won't attempt to try and find his old one when you let him outside. During this period the cat is uneasy, erratic, intensely alert and untrusting.

Along with that, the cat also hides in hard to reach areas and meows like crazy. This morning it started at 5am, it didn't want to eat, it didn't want affection, it just wanted to go outside, the ONLY place it is not allowed to go. It is driving me insane and this is why am wanting it to die. I am going to let it play outside on Wednesday, I hope I can last till then. 

If we were playing Find the Cat at my house, you would find him under my bed. Meowing.

Anyway, Cat rant over!

The Olympics are on at the moment and everyone is talking about it. Its EVERYWHERE you look!

But did you know...... back in 1988, at the Winter Olympics in Canada, a cat actually took the Bronze medal in the Downhill Ski Slalom event, he was representing Fiji under the name 'Harry Meowmeow'. No one noticed he was a cat until the medal was placed around his neck. The organisers tried to catch him and strip him of his medal but he made off into the snow never to be seen again. There was a large scale cover up by the Canadian Olympic Committee, the F.B.I, the C.I.A and the L.O.L. No records were kept of that moment and all recordings of his performance have been confiscated. 

Last night I was emailed this picture by an anonomous source. They claim to have been there on that fateful day and managed to snap this picture. Until now, it has never seen the light of day. Can you see Harry Meowmeow?

Today I've kept the bar high... Find The Cat is reaching new levels of eye-squinting pain...... but I assure you from my heart.... it's there!
