Lauren Daigle's New Zealand Shows

She's playing in Hamilton and Christchurch - at Festival One on January 24, and Christchurch Town Hall January 25 2020. She's one of the biggest artists on Life FM - but she's also won two GRAMMYs and sold out every one of her shows to date. We're pretty excited she's finally coming to NZ (although Bjorn and Josh are probably the most excited people on the planet!)

From her website: "This year has been life changing," said Daigle. "There's no better feeling than to be able to look out from the stage and see how people have connected with the songs on this album. Our shows feel like one big party of togetherness, and I can't wait to create a whole new tour for 2020. It's going to be so much fun!"

The Lauren Daigle World Tour features an all new stage production, design and set list that will be highlighted by Daigle's raw vocal power and stage presence. She'll feature some of her hits, including her latest single 'Rescue' and the double-Platinum selling #1 single 'You Say,' as well as tracks from her previous platinum-selling album, "How Can It Be".

Get your Festival One tickets here and Christchurch tickets here - hopefully Festival One list up Friday day passes soon!

Vote for your fave Relient K songs for Vinyl Release!

It's been a while since we've heard new music from these guys, but we're 100% on board with their new project: a special fan-curated double vinyl release where fans can vote for their favorite 12 songs, out of almost 150, to be included on a new vinyl record. We love this idea (can every band do it please??)

Lecrae Gets Baptized in the Jordan River

Rapper Lecrae has been sharing about his trip to the Holy Land, and posted a video showing him getting baptized in the Jordan River. On Instagram, he says: "We came out to Isreal and Palestine to add fuel to our faith. We are leaving with lots of answers, but even more questions. Right on top of our pilgrimage to the land of the Bible is a conflict that makes me take a deep look at what God meant when He said, "love your neighbor as yourself." Who is your neighbor? Jew, Christian, Muslim, Israeli, Palestinian? It's a lot to process, I don't have the tangible answer to end this conflict, but I know it starts with love, empathy, and communication."

Commemorative $15 Note for the World Cup

When the All Blacks win the Rugby World Cup (as they are 100% are going to), Bjorn is on a campaign to honour our National Rugby team with their very own banknote. If New Zealand win the Rugby World Cup for an unprecedented fourth time, to celebrate, we think the Reserve Bank of New Zealand issue a commemorative, black $15 bill into circulation! If you're keen, sign the petition, spread the word and let's make history!

Skillet Release Graphic Novel

Back in March the band announced they've partnered with Z2 Comics to release 'Eden: A Skillet Graphic Novel'. Written by John Cooper, lead singer of Skillet, Eden is a tale of redemption and finding light in the darkness.

Rare, In-depth NF Interview Worth Checking Out

One of the reasons Josh's 2016 interview with NF at Festival One has 350k views on Youtube is... NF doesn't do interviews. Like hardly ever. Maybe NF decided he peaked when he was interviewed by Life FM!

Anyway, in the interview with NME, Nathan Feuerstein shares about being diagnosed with OCD, his Top 5 Eminem songs, religion, therapy and pipping Chance the Rapper to the top spot on Billboard after this latest album The Search, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart 6 weeks ago. If you're a fan, you'll love this interview!

Te Rautini - Tai Nui

Aaron Hardy from Te Rautini, formerly known as Link, was in studio this morning to premiere their new song Tai Nui for Maori language week. It is from their upcoming album. Their debut album which included iconic songs like 'Kia Kaha' and 'Tuhia' have been so influential throughout the church in NZ over the last few years, we can't wait to see what God will do with these new songs.

Christian songs in Te Reo Maori

Te Wiki o te Reo Māori! Māori Language week has been celebrated each year from 1975, and we've had a few listeners getting in touch asking about the te reo Maori (and some bilingual!) songs we have been highlighting this year. We've compiled a few of them for you below for you to share with friends and family - and of course, for your listening pleasure too!  Don't forget, if you'd like to get yourself in the draw for a Maori language Bible, enter below.
