The Forum: Your Job Isn't Your Purpose + Easter Questions Answered

A complex food crisis driven by drought, conflict and political instability has left over 22 million people in East Africa in need of life-saving assistance. The UN is calling it the biggest humanitarian crisis since World War Two. Chris Clarke is CEO of World Vision NZ and he joined us to talk about the work they are doing to save lives there. He'll chat about how you and I can make a difference through prayer and giving financially.

Also on this week's show, we count down to Easter weekend with Rev Frank Ritchie, look at the events of that first Easter and focus on how the people misunderstood what kind of Saviour they needed. Liz Henderson shares some great thoughts on why your job isn't your purpose, and Dan is in to update us on the week in social media, including the Kylie Jenner Pepsi scandal, racism + more.

Tune in Sunday night from 8pm.

The Forum: Why You Shouldn't Say You're Blessed + Lent Reflections

When we get a new car or purchase a house, we say we're blessed – but it can actually be harmful to do so. We talk with Scott Dannemillar from about why we shouldn't say this. Plus our resident counsellor Aaron Ironside has advice for a mum whose son won't talk and The Reverend Frank Ritchie shares more thoughts on Lent.

Tune in Sunday night from 8pm.

Christians are the religious group in the world who are most persecuted for their faith. Open Doors is an organisation that works in over 60 countries supporting persecuted Christians. On The Forum this week we were joined by Mike Burrows from Open Doors to talk about how we can help care for our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ.

Plus the Reverend Frank Ritchie shares some thoughts on the terror attacks in London and Dan Goodwin updates us on the week in social media.

Tune in Sunday night from 8pm.
