For many, retiring from the All Blacks means stepping away from the spotlight. But as Sir Michael Jones shares, once you're an All Black, you're always an All Black.
For him, the games still stir something deep, a mix of love for the team, loyalty to the jersey, and memories that donβt fade. Since being a part of the first squad to win against South Africa on their home soil in the 90's, we also had to ask him what he thinks will happen against the South African rugby team ahead of the All Backs third test in Wellington.
He also opens up about what it means to be grounded in faith through it all, talking about his experience being a part of the 'God Squad' back in the day, and how that's changed in modern times with the likes of Ardie Savea in the modern game. More than the black jersey, itβs his walk with Jesus that defines him.
