Your story matters

We can live a very isolated way. It's easy to pull away from others, spending time in front of the TV or computer. We can walk around looking at a phone screen instead of at the people we're passing, filling our lives with 'stuff' but missing real community. And because of this, maybe we feel lonely sometimes, or that we don't matter.

But, we matter so much to God, so much that he sent his only Son to earth to be with us and die to save us - so we would be set free and be called his children. God is always trying to get our attention, He does this through his word, through relationship with others, through encouraging words, pictures and healings. He does this to draw us into relationship with him and demonstrate how special he thinks we are.

Sometimes we lose sight of or forget how much God cares. So hearing someone tell their story of what God has done in their life, 'giving testimony', can be a powerful encouragement. God uses testimony to give us courage to keep going and to give us hope for our future. It's also a reminder from God of how much we mean to him. Each person has a story, and God is so excited about each story being used to glorify his goodness and lead more people into his Kingdom.
